The Academy had some very special visitors this week as Year 6 pupils from local primary schools experienced our taster days.
Year 6 pupils joining the Academy in September had the chance to experience life as a Shotton Hall Academy student for the very first time, enjoying taster lessons in English, ICT, science and even, savouring our delicious school dinners!
We also held a 'friendship day' last Friday for the 20 Year 6 pupils who were the only ones joining from their primary schools. This gave them the opportunity to come and meet others in the same position as them, make new friends and have a friendly face in September.
Mrs Sharpe commented: "They were a lovely bunch and made a great first impression!"
