After a quick hop across the Atlantic, four Chilean teachers are spending the next two weeks at Shotton Hall. The South Americans are happily braving our cold weather to learn all about our teaching techniques here in the UK.

So far they have been to other schools in the North East including our partner primary school, Browney Academy, but now it's Shotton Hall's turn to play host and showcase the things we do well here to our foreign friends.

It's not all been hard work though and the teachers have already had some sightseeing opportunities including London and Edinburgh. They also plan to visit York, Dublin and Liverpool.

The visit is designed to expose the teachers to alternative teaching ideas and help them improve their English, which to be honest is already pretty good!

Welcome to Shotton Hall everyone, we hope you enjoy your time here with us!
