Free school meals
Any child may qualify for a free school meal if you receive Universal Credit (from September 2026, all children in households receiving Universal Credit are eligible for free school meals, regardless of earnings).

Breakfast
All students are entitled to a free breakfast or either cereal or toast. Other items are available for purchase.
Breakfast club starts at 8am and finishes at 8.30am every morning.
Lunch
Every day we provide a wide range of hot and cold lunches including a choice of three main meals (two meat, one vegetarian) and other choices including:

Filled jacket potatoes and sweet potatoes

A selection of baguettes, sandwiches, wraps, and salads

Homemade soup with a roll

Pasta with homemade sauces
