Elliott's new Spiderman hand

Miss Pearson, Mr Davis and Mr Bradley have been working the 3D printer hard again and have built a little boy called Elliott a Spiderman prosthetic hand.

Elliott does not have a full left hand, but his amazing new Spiderman hand will give him the ability to grip and hold items, which means he will now be able to do more fun things like ride his bike!

The hand was sized using measurements of his hand and scaling the designs made by a company in America called e-Nable who specialise in 3D printed prosthetics. e-Nable make the initial designs, which are altered to suit the needs of the user and printed on our 3D printer.

This is the second hand Miss Pearson, Mr Davis and Mr Bradley have made after constructing an ironman hand for a little boy called Brooklyn last year.
