Theatre school

At The Academy at Shotton Hall we are very proud of our theatre school which runs every Saturday during term time. Theatre school at Shotton Hall was established in 2006 and specialises in theatrical training for young people. Students at theatre school work on their techniques in the areas of dance, drama and music and have an hour on each with professional tutors for each discipline.

During the term, students work on a project that is showcased at the end of the term. Theatre school has two classes every Saturday as follows:

Age group Time
Early years (4-7 years) 9.00am - 10.00am
Main school (7-16 years)  10.00am - 1.00pm
